Jamiyah Singapore has long been at the heart of community care. Since the 1970s, Jamiyah Singapore has provided food assistance to those in need. With the opening of Jamiyah FoodBank building, we’ve strengthened our ability to reach more families and individuals across Singapore.
Officially launched in March 2017, Jamiyah FoodBank proudly stands as Singapore’s first Muslim-owned food bank, located at No. 9 Tannery Lane. More than just a space for food collection, Jamiyah FoodBank is a centre of compassion where every item sorted, stored, and distributed represents hope for someone facing food insecurity.
Our mission goes beyond providing food. We aim to deliver nutritious, health-enhancing support that uplifts lives, promotes dignity, and encourages self-reliance. To date, we have served over 25,000 beneficiaries including the elderly, persons with disabilities, the aged-sick, low-income families, and unemployed individuals, ensuring that no one is left behind in their journey towards stability and independence.
