To Identify Our Community Needs and Reach Out to Assist

In 2016, Jamiyah Singapore expanded its food ration distribution programme when it rented a four-storey building to serve as its FoodBank.  The warehouse was officially launched in March 2017 and is located at No. 9 Tannery Lane.

Jamiyah FoodBank collects, sorts, stores and distributes donated food to poor and needy families. Our mandate is to coordinate and deliver a food support programme that meets the needs of our beneficiaries and support their journey to self-reliance.

We provide safe, nutritious and health-enhancing food for the elderly, aged-sick people with disabilities, poor and needy families, low-income workers and unemployed. We currently serve more than 3000 beneficiaries.
